Women’s track and field team places seventh at MIAA Field Day
ALMA, Mich. – The Olivet College women’s track and field team placed seventh at the 2021 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Field Day, hosted by Alma College. The Comets totaled 32 points over the two days of competition.

ALMA, Mich. – The Olivet College women's track and field team placed seventh at the 2021 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Field Day, hosted by Alma College. The Comets totaled 32 points over the two days of competition.
- The 4x100-meter relay team of freshman Taylor Wilsey, sophomore Gabby Jolliff, freshman Alex DeVault and sophomore Rachel Swartz placed fourth with a time of 52.31 seconds.
- Freshman Abbey Johnston and junior Lillian Albaugh were fifth and eighth, respectively in the discus throw with marks of 113 feet, 2 inches and 107 feet, 11 inches.
- Wilsey finished sixth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 13.64 seconds.

- The Comets are expected to send a select group of student-athletes to last chance meets over the next few weeks, so they can look to improve their performances and qualify for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
