Women’s track and field team places fifth at Comet Invitational
OLIVET, Mich. – The Olivet College women’s track and field team started the outdoor portion of its schedule by placing fifth at the Comet Invitational on the Kolassa Track and at the Cutler Athletic Complex.

OLIVET, Mich. – The Olivet College women's track and field team started the outdoor portion of its schedule by placing fifth at the Comet Invitational on the Kolassa Track and at the Cutler Athletic Complex.
- Sophomore Gabby Jolliff scored second-place points in the pole vault with a 2.90m clearance.
- Freshman Jersey Gaedert finished third in the 200-meter dash, crossing the line in 28.38 seconds.
- Freshman Abbey Johnston placed third in the discus throw with a toss of 32.63 meters.
- Also in the 200, freshman Alex DeVault was fourth in 28.83 seconds.
- Freshman Tonya Tepin had the fourth-fastest time in the 800-meter run at 2:40.83.

- The Comets are back in action next Friday, April 9, for the Spring Thaw, hosted by Albion College. Field events get started at 11 a.m., followed by running events at 4 p.m.
