Albaugh wins shot put, women’s indoor track and field team finishes fourth at MIAA Jamboree
ANGOLA, Ind. – The Olivet College women’s track and field team finished in fourth-place at the 2021 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Jamboree today at the Keith E. Busse/Steel Dynamics Athletic and Recreation Center. The Comets totaled 38.5 points.

ANGOLA, Ind. – The Olivet College women's track and field team finished in fourth-place at the 2021 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Jamboree today at the Keith E. Busse/Steel Dynamics Athletic and Recreation Center. The Comets totaled 38.5 points.
- For the third consecutive meet, junior Lillian Albaugh took first-place in the shot put. Today's winning mark covered 39 feet, 9-1/4 inches. Albaugh also placed fifth in the weight throw with a 37 feet, 9-1/2 inch mark.
- Sophomore Gabby Jolliff tied for third in the high jump, clearing the bar at four feet, six inches. She also set a career-best mark of 8 feet, 8-1/4 inches in the pole vault.
- Season-best performances were turned in by:
- Brianna Bailey: 60-meter (9.87)
- Savanna Baughan: 60-meter (9.95) and 200-meter (33.86)
- Abbey Johnston: weight throw (37 feet, 5-1/4 inches)
- Kaylee Richardson: 800-meter run (2:49.10)
- Allyson Stevens: long jump (12 feet, 10-3/4 inches)
- The Comets compete at the Trine Indoor Meet next Saturday, February 27.
NOTE: To achieve a season-best performance above, the student-athlete must have competed in an event at least one other time this season.
