Indoor track and field teams compete at Hillsdale “Wide Track Classic”
HILLSDALE, Mich. – The Olivet College men’s and women’s indoor track and field teams competed at the two-day Hillsdale College “Wide Track Classic.” The meet was held inside the Margot V. Biermann Center.

HILLSDALE, Mich. – The Olivet College men's and women's indoor track and field teams competed at the two-day Hillsdale College "Wide Track Classic." The meet was held inside the Margot V. Biermann Center.
- Four Olivet student-athletes posted personal-best performances:
- Natalie Klee in the 200-meter dash (:30.03)
- Hailei Manthei in the weight throw (42 feet, 4-1/4 inches)
- Brittany McDuffie in the 60-meter dash (:9.15)
- Kaylee Richardson in the 800-meter run (2:45.89) and mile run (5:48.81)
- For a third straight week, freshman Jordon Butler broke the school record in the 60-meter hurdles. After matching his record in the first round at 8.88 seconds, he ran the semifinals in 8.72 seconds.
- Senior Noah Bailey competed in the triple jump for the first time this season, and walked away with a first-place mark of 45 feet, 3-1/2 inches.
- Freshman Jordon Brown finished second of 35 runners in the 400-meter dash with a time of 50.79 seconds.
- Posting season-best performances were:
- Elijah Lewis in the 200-meter dash (:23.94) and long jump (21 feet, 1/2 inch)
- Zac Liddle in the shot put (32 feet, 1 inch)
- Paul Muir in the pole vault (13 feet, 4-1/4 inches)
- Jordan Robinson in the 200-meter dash (:26.00)
- Jacob Smith in the shot put (50 feet, 10-3/4 inches)
- Jake Zammitta in the shot put (38 feet, 10-1/4 inches) and weight throw (38 feet, 6-3/4 inches)
- To qualify for a season-best mark, the student-athlete must have competed in the event in at least one other meet this season.
- A select group of Olivet student-athletes will participate in the Grand Valley State University "Big Meet" next Friday, Feb. 14.
