Kaliniak receives NCAA Women’s Enhancement Program Graduate Scholarship
Michaela Kaliniak, a 2019 Olivet College graduate, received the NCAA Women’s Enhancement Program Graduate Scholarship.
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Michaela Kaliniak, a 2019 Olivet College graduate, received the NCAA Women's Enhancement Program Graduate Scholarship.
The NCAA awards $10,000 to 13 ethnic minorities and 13 female college graduates who will be entering their initial year of graduate studies. The applicant must be seeking admission or have been accepted into a sports administration or program that will help the applicant obtain a career in intercollegiate athletics, such as athletics administrator, coach, athletic trainer or a career that provides a direct service to intercollegiate athletics.
Kaliniak is currently enrolled in the master's of science in exercise science program at Oakland University. She serves as a teacher's assistant in the exercise science program, while being the volunteer pole vault coach for the Golden Grizzlies.
During her time at Olivet, Kaliniak was a member of the Comet track and field team. She holds the school indoor (10'11-3/4") and outdoor (11'3/4") record in the pole vault. Kaliniak was the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) pole vault indoor champion in 2018 and 2019, and outdoor champion in 2019. She also served as the president for Student-Athlete Advisory Committee during the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.
