ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The University of Olivet women's tennis team ended its fall schedule with a 4-3 loss to Concordia University-Ann Arbor this afternoon at the Racquet Club of Ann Arbor.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Cardinals swept the three doubles flights to pick-up the first team point. Olivet went ahead 2-1 with wins at No. 6 and No. 1 singles. Concordia tied the score with a win at No. 5 singles before the Comets took the lead back with a win at No. 4 singles. The Cardinals won the last two singles flights to post the come-from-behind win.

FOR THE COMETS

Freshman Willow Evans had a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 6 singles.
Sophomore Rylee Lewis won both sets by 6-2 scores at No. 1 singles.
Sophomore Kayden Alli recorded a 6-2, 6-4 win at No. 4 singles.
Sophomore Madison Golden lost the first set but bounced back to win the second set. Her opponent won the match tiebreaker.

UP NEXT

The Comets will play the remainder of their schedule in the spring season. The first match is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, February 22, against Manchester (Ind.) University.
