OLIVET, Mich. – The University of Olivet women's tennis team closed out a three-match homestand with a 9-0 loss to Kalamazoo College in a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) match this morning at the Tom Kolassa Tennis Courts.
- Final Score: Kalamazoo 9, Olivet 0

- Records: Olivet 2-13 overall, 0-6 MIAA; Kalamazoo 8-8 overall, 4-2 MIAA
- The Hornets lost only three total games to win the three pro-sets in doubles play. Kalamazoo won each of the six singles flights, including five in straight sets.
- Freshmen Rylee Lewis and Jordan West had the most success in doubles, as the duo dropped an 8-2 decision at the No. 1 spot.
- Freshman Kayden Alli lost a thrilling three-set match at No. 5 singles. After losing the first set, 6-1, she bounced back to win the second set on a tiebreaker, 7-6 (5). In the match tiebreaker, Alli fell 10-6.
- After playing four matches in the last seven days, the Comets get almost one week off and are back on the courts Saturday, April 20, at Saint Mary's (Ind.) College. The match gets started at 4 p.m.
