Women’s tennis team falls to Albion, 5-4
ALBION, Mich. – The Olivet College women’s tennis team suffered a narrow 5-4 defeat to Albion College in a non-conference match this morning at the Ungrodt Tennis Center.

ALBION, Mich. – The Olivet College women's tennis team suffered a narrow 5-4 defeat to Albion College in a non-conference match this morning at the Ungrodt Tennis Center.

Records: Olivet 3-4 overall, Albion 1-2 overall
- The Britons took a 2-1 lead by winning two of the three doubles flights.
- Albion extended its lead to 4-1 with wins in the first two singles matches to finish.
- The Comets closed the team score gap to a point, 4-3, with wins at No. 1 and No. 3 singles.
- The Britons sealed their win with a win at No. 6 singles before Olivet won the final match at No. 5 singles.
- The No. 1 duo of sophomore Makenzie Borg and senior Desiree Luque Pradas picked-up Olivet's double point, winning the pro-set 8-6.
- Luque Pradas cruised to a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 1 singles.
- Junior Emily Foulk won a marathon match at No. 3 singles. She won the first set 6-4 before dropping the second set 6-1. Foulk bounced back to win the match tie-breaker, 10-7.
- Sophomore Ally Sears lost only game in each set for a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 5 singles.
- Olivet is now idle until Saturday, March 20, when it hosts Grace Christian University at 11 a.m. If weather allows, the match will be outdoors at the Marshall High School Tennis Complex. If the weather is bad, it will be moved indoors to Minges Creek Athletic Club in Battle Creek.
