BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – The Olivet College women's tennis team fell to Lawrence Tech, 8-1, today at the Minges Creek Athletic Club in Battle Creek.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Blue Devils swept the three doubles matches and won the last five singles matches.
FOR THE COMETS
- Sophomore Rachael Hager earned Olivet's only team point at No. 1 singles. She was leading the first set 5-4 when her opponent retired from the match due to an injury.
- Sophomore Rae Claramunt and freshman Miranda Pier lost a close 9-8 (6) pro-set at No. 2 doubles.
- Freshmen Taylor Robbins and Sydnie Weller dropped an 8-5 pro-set at No. 3 doubles.
