FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Olivet College women's tennis team defeated Indiana Tech, 6-3, in its spring opener today inside the Wildwood Racquet Club in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Comets won two-of-three doubles matches, losing only one game in the two wins.
- Olivet claimed the win by winning four-of-six singles matches.
FOR THE COMETS
- In doubles, the No. 2 duo of sophomores Rae Claramunt and Rachael Hager won an 8-1 pro-set, and the No. 3 duo of freshmen Miranda Pier and Taylor Robbins did not lose any games in an 8-0 pro-set victory.
- Junior BreAnne Rudlaff had identical 6-2 wins in both sets at No. 3 singles.
- Claramunt won 6-2, 6-3 at No. 4 singles.
- Pier and freshman Sydnie Weller cruised to 6-0, 6-0 wins at No. 5 and No. 6 singles, respectively.
