SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The Olivet College women's tennis team was shutout by Spring Arbor University, 9-0, today at Jones Tennis Complex in Spring Arbor.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Cougars swept the three doubles matches. The closest match came at the No. 3 position where the team of sophomore Rae Claramunt and senior Jeanette Fisher lost an 8-6 pro-set.
- Spring Arbor won all six singles matches in straight sets.
- Junior BreAnne Rudlaff won a game in each set at No. 2 singles.
- Fisher claimed two games in the second set at No. 4 singles.
- Freshman Miranda Pier also earned one win in each set at No. 5 singles.
- Sophomore Amanda Gruszka won three total games, two in the first set and one in the second set, at No. 6 singles.
UP NEXT
- Olivet will travel to Southfield to play Lawrence Tech in a rescheduled match Monday, Sept. 26. The match will be played at the Southfield Civic Center and start at 3 p.m.
