Ninety-one Olivet College student-athletes have been named to the 2006-07 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Academic (MIAA) Honor Roll.

Olivet College senior Rachel Vilums (Hudsonville) has been named to the 2007 All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) second-team in women’s tennis. Vilums becomes a three-time All-MIAA player, as she also earned second-team honors in 2005 and 2006.

The Olivet College women’s tennis team fell to Saint Mary’s (Ind.) College, 7-2, to finish in sixth-place at the 2007 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Championships, which was hosted by Kalamazoo College. The Comets end their season with a 10-10 record, and the 10 wins are a single-season school-record.
