Mann helps women’s swimming & diving team place fifth at 2022 MIAA Championship
HOLLAND, Mich. – Led by sophomore Jennifer Mann, the Olivet College women’s swimming & diving team placed fifth at the 2022 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Championship held inside the Holland Aquatic Center. The Comets totaled 255 points over the four days of competition to beat sixth-place Alma College by 23 points.

HOLLAND, Mich. – Led by sophomore Jennifer Mann, the Olivet College women's swimming & diving team placed fifth at the 2022 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Championship held inside the Holland Aquatic Center. The Comets totaled 255 points over the four days of competition to beat sixth-place Alma College by 23 points.
- In tonight's finals, Mann won her second individual MIAA title, as she had the fastest time in the 1,650-yard freestyle with a season-best performance at 17:40.27. Less than 20 minutes later, Mann tied for third-place in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:23.49. During the preliminaries, she posted a season-best time of 2:23.28.
- Senior Kayla Eichaker tied for 10th-place in the 100-yard freestyle with a season-best time of 54.83 seconds.
- Freshman Ann Bourff and Jordan Kruskie finished 15th and 16th in the 200-yard backstroke. Bouff's prelim time, 2:35.28, was a season-best, while Kruskie's finals time, 2:36.10, was a season-best.
- Junior Sarah LaFoe clocked-in with the 16th-fastest time in the 200-yard breaststroke at 2:57.99.
- Junior Kennedy Karns recorded a season-best time of 2:39.66 to place 15th in the 200-yard butterfly.
- Also, in the 200-yard butterfly, sophomore Erin Sanders completed the race in a personal-best time of 2:52.08, to finish 16th.
- Mann, Bourff, Karns and Eichaker capped the meet with a sixth-place time of 3:49.25 in the 400-yard freestyle relay. Mann's leadoff 100-yard freestyle split time of 54.12 seconds ranks No. 5 all-time at Olivet.
- In the prelims, sophomore Jasmine VanAtti had a season-best time of 1:05.85 in the 100-yard freestyle.
