Mann wins 500 free, women’s swimming & diving team sits fifth at 2022 MIAA Championship
HOLLAND, Mich. – The Olivet College women’s swimming & diving team sits in fifth-place after day two of the 2022 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Championship at the Holland Aquatic Center. The Comets have recorded 122 points, which is 35 points ahead of sixth-place Alma College.

HOLLAND, Mich. – The Olivet College women's swimming & diving team sits in fifth-place after day two of the 2022 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Championship at the Holland Aquatic Center. The Comets have recorded 122 points, which is 35 points ahead of sixth-place Alma College.
- Sophomore Jennifer Mann won the 500-yard freestyle in a personal-best time of 5:02.88, which ranks No. 2 all-time at Olivet. She advanced to the finals with the fastest preliminary time at 5:05.46.
- Senior Kayla Eichaker finished 13th in the 50-yard freestyle at 25.21 seconds. In the prelims, she swam a season-best time of 25.18 seconds.
- The 200-yard freestyle relay team of freshman Ann Bourff, freshman Jordan Kruskie, sophomore Jasmine VanAtti and junior Kennedy Karns posted the sixth-fastest time among the "A" relays at 1:53.71.
- The 400-yard medley relay team of Bourff, Mann, Eichaker and VanAtti swam the sixth-quickest time among the "A" relays at 4:20.35.
- In the 500-yard freestyle prelims, junior Karley Wheeler swam a season-best time of 7:00.90.
- In the 50-yard freestyle prelims, VanAtti and sophomore Chelsea Perry had season-best times of 29.16 and 30.29 seconds, respectively.
- The third day of the MIAA Championship starts tomorrow with preliminaries in the 100-yard butterfly, 400-yard individual medley, 200-yard freestyle, 100-yard breaststroke and 100-yard backstroke at 10 a.m. The finals in those events along with the 200-yard medley relay begin at 5 p.m.
