Women’s swimming team loses to Hillsdale, 148-70
OLIVET, Mich. – The Olivet College women’s swimming team fell to Hillsdale College, 148-70, in a non-conference dual meet this afternoon at the Upton Center Pool. The Comet men also competed in the event, as Hillsdale sponsors only women’s swimming.

Comet men also swam in the meet
OLIVET, Mich. – The Olivet College women's swimming team fell to Hillsdale College, 148-70, in a non-conference dual meet this afternoon at the Upton Center Pool. The Comet men also competed in the dual but there was no team score, as Hillsdale sponsors only women's swimming.
- Freshman Jennifer Mann touched the wall first in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:10.71), and second in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:30.96) and 200-yard individual medley (2:19.13).
- Junior Kayla Eichaker led a 1-2 Olivet finish in the 50-yard freestyle, with a winning time of 26.74 seconds. Senior Kea Kunz was second in 27.49 seconds.
- Kunz also placed second in the 100-yard freestyle (1:01.22).
- Senior Kolton Epplett and sophomore Sebastian O'Leary posted quick times in the 1,000-yard freestyle at 11:18.51 and 11:22.41, respectively.
- Sophomore Carter Moore had a fast time, 5:15.05, in the 500-yard freestyle.
- The Comets host Kalamazoo College next Saturday at 1 p.m.
