Swimming & diving teams named to CSCAA Scholar All-America Team
The Olivet College men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams have been named to the College Swimming Coaches Association of America Scholar All-America team for the 2018 fall semester.
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Olivet College men's and women's swimming & diving teams have been named to the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America team for the 2018 fall semester.
The Scholar All-America team award is presented to college and university swimming and diving teams, who have achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The award is presented twice annually, once in the fall semester/term and in the semester/term of the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships (Winter/Spring).
Under the leadership of second-year head coach Rob Brownell, the Comet women posted a 3.68 team cumulative grade point average and the Olivet men had a cumulative team GPA of 3.43. The women's GPA was the sixth-best among the 171 NCAA Division III women's teams honored. The men were 21st of 118 NCAA Division III men's teams.
