Swimming & diving teams fall to Kalamazoo
The Olivet College men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams fell to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association foe Kalamazoo College in dual meets today in Kalamazoo.

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Olivet College men's and women's swimming & diving teams fell to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association foe Kalamazoo College in dual meets today in Kalamazoo.
THE RESULTS
- Women – Kalamazoo def. Olivet 139-64
- Men – Kalamazoo def. Olivet 135-75
FOR THE WOMEN
- Junior Emma Cole placed second in the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 12:33.38. She also placed third in the 500-yard freestyle with a season-best time of 6:08.30.
- Sophomore Delaney Graham helped Olivet finish 2-3 in the 100-yard freestyle. Her time of 59.36 seconds was second-fastest, while freshman Amelia Tomalka was right behind her at 59.99 seconds.
- Freshman Abbie Slater scored 181.25 points on the three-meter diving board to finish in second-place.
FOR THE MEN
- Freshman Zach Meharg was the runner-up finisher in the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 11:23.41. He also touched the wall second in the 100-yard breaststroke at 1:08.86.
- Freshman Eric Wood placed second in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:57.57.
- Senior Bryce Prudden led a 2-3 Comet finish on both diving boards. He scored 221.95 points on the one-meter and 199.60 points on the three-meter to finish second. Freshman Dalton Miner was third with 187.75 points on the one-meter and 191.80 points on the three-meter.
