OLIVET, Mich. – The University of Olivet women's soccer team dropped a heartbreaking 2-0 decision to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) foe Saint Mary's (Ind.) College on Senior Day at the Cutler Athletic Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Belles outshot the Comets 15-1 in the first half but failed to put any of the shots into the net.
- Olivet had a golden opportunity to score in the first minute of the second half. A shot attempt on a breakaway went just wide left of the goal.
- The score stayed 0-0 until the final seven minutes of the game.
- Danielle Escobedo's shot from around 20 yards out sailed into the net.
- A free kick by Grace Barresi in the 88th minute snuck into the upper corner of the net at the near post.
- Saint Mary's ended the game with a 31-4 advantage in total shots.
FOR THE COMETS
- Senior Katelyn White recorded two of the Comet shots.
- Sophomore Kalila Glei and freshman Jillian Ostrowski each tallied one shot.
- Senior Sarah Willard recorded 15 saves, while playing 90 minutes in goal.
