OLIVET, Mich. – The University of Olivet women's soccer team was on the losing end of a 5-0 final to Kalamazoo College in a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) contest this afternoon at the Cutler Athletic Complex in Olivet.
- Final Score: Kalamazoo 5, Olivet 0

- Records: Olivet 0-10-0 overall, 0-4-0 MIAA; Kalamazoo 5-4-3 overall, 2-1-1 MIAA
- The game was a tale of two halves. Neither team was able to find the back of the net in the opening 45 minutes of action. In the second half, the Hornets scored five goals, including four over a span of just under 10 minutes. The middle two goals were off corner kicks.
- Olivet finished the contest with five shots, with two each by sophomore Alena David and senior Madison Sims.
- Junior Sarah Willard began the game in goal and collected 13 saves in 62 minutes.
- Freshman Viveca Krolczyk saw action in goal for the final 28 minutes and made five saves.
- Olivet is back in action next Saturday, October 14, when it plays at Alma College. Game time at Scotland Yard in Alma is 12 p.m.
