The Olivet College women's soccer team was blanked by Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) leader Calvin College, 3-0, today at the Cutler Athletic Complex in Olivet.

The Olivet College women's soccer team was blanked by Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) leader Calvin College, 3-0, today at the Cutler Athletic Complex in Olivet.
The Knights led 1-0 at halftime behind a goal in the 29th minute. They added to their lead with a goal just 1:46 into the second half. Calvin closed the scoring in the 68th minute.
Offensively, the Comets were limited to four shots -- two for freshman Faith Hatt (Rochester Hills/Rochester Adams) and one each for freshman Lizzy Julian and sophomore Amanda Loudin (Marshall). Julian's and Loudin's shots were on-goal. Sophomore Sarah Westen (Grand Ledge) made seven saves on 21 Calvin shots.
Olivet returns to action Saturday when it hosts Alma College at noon. Following the women's game, the Comet men will play Trine (Ind.) University.
