The Olivet College women’s soccer team had its three-game winning streak snapped with a 3-1 loss to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) rival Adrian College this morning at the Multi-Sport Performance Stadium in Adrian.

The Olivet College women's soccer team had its three-game winning streak snapped with a 3-1 loss to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) rival Adrian College this morning at the Multi-Sport Performance Stadium in Adrian.
The Bulldogs led 2-0 at halftime behind goals in the 11th and 42nd minutes of play. Olivet scored its goal just 2:19 into second half when freshman Faith Hatt (Rochester Hills/Rochester Adams) found the back of the net off a pass from freshman Lizzy Julian (Mattawan).
The Comets finished the game with 10 shots, including four for Julian. Sophomore keeper Megan Colby (Cedar Springs) faced 17 shots and made six saves.
Olivet will travel to play Hope College Tuesday, Oct. 7, at 4 p.m.
