The Comets (7-9-1, 7-7-1 MIAA) led 1-0 at halftime behind an unassisted goal by junior Ann Marie Keisic (Sterling Heights/Warren Cousino). In a span of three minutes, 10 seconds of the second half clock, freshman Megan Reardon (Macomb/Chippewa Valley) scored two goals for Olivet. The first goal was unassisted at the 72:20 mark, and the second one came at the 75:30 mark off a pass by sophomore Natalie Lopez (Holland/West Ottawa).
Reardon finished the game with four of the Comet's nine shots, while Keisic recorded two shots. In goal, sophomore Bre Bath-Simonsen (Mason) posted her fifth shutout of the season. She faced five shots and made three saves.
Olivet concludes its 2005 season next week. On Monday, Oct. 31, the Comets host non-league foe Davenport University at 3 p.m., and the season-finale is Saturday, Nov. 5, at Calvin College at noon.
