Lady Comet soccer team defeats Adrian, 1-0

The Lady Comets' (7-10, 5-8 MIAA) goal came at the 79:12 mark. Freshman Anna Mueller (Pennfield High School) crossed a free kick to the left side of the Adrian goalkeeper, and Stickney shot the ball past the keeper.
For the game, Olivet outshot the Lady Bulldogs, 24-5, including a 16-0 advantage in the second half. Stickney led the offensive attack with nine shots, four on goal. Freshman Lindsay Bialas (Vicksburg High School) came off the bench and recorded four shots while four other Comets had two shots apiece. In goal, junior Gretchen Ford (Harbor Springs High School) played the entire game and made 17 saves.
