Women's soccer team defeats Adrian, 3-1, for third straight victory
The Olivet College women’s soccer team extended its winning streak to three games with a 3-1 victory today at Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association foe Adrian College.
The Olivet College women's soccer team extended its winning streak to three games with a 3-1 victory today at Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association foe Adrian College.
Sophomore Stacey Stickney (St. Joseph High School) had two goals and freshman Natalie Lopez (Holland/West Ottawa High School) had one goal for the Lady Comets (5-4-0, 3-2-0 MIAA). Stickney has scored eight goals in the last three games Olivet.
Lopez and sophomore Ann Marie Keisic (Sterling Heights/Warren Cousino High School) were credited with an assist apiece.
The Comets are next in action Saturday, Oct. 2, when they host Kalamazoo College in the first game of a women's/men's soccer doubleheader. The women's game will start at noon, followed by the Olivet men versus Adrian at approximately 2:30 p.m.
