Bio

Adam Wilson is in his fifth season as a full-time assistant wrestling coach at Olivet in 2020-21.

A 2011 Olivet graduate, Wilson was a four-year starter and served as the team's captain as a junior and senior for the Comets. He placed three times at the NCAA Division III Midwest Regional and was named the team's Most Valuable Wrestler in 2010. In his four seasons wearing an Olivet singlet, Wilson posted a 72-53 record. He also holds the school record for the fastest pin in the 133-pound weight class.

Wilson most recently spent the 2015-16 season as an assistant wrestling coach at Trine (Ind.) University. Prior to that, he held the position of assistant wrestling coach at Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Virginia.

Following graduation, Wilson worked as an academic enrollment specialist within the Olivet admissions office while also being a volunteer assistant coach with the wrestling team from 2011-2014. During this time, he also earned a master's degree in higher education administration from Upper Iowa University.

A native of Battle Creek, Wilson graduated from Harper Creek High School and was a two-year captain of the wrestling team, earning All-State status. Wilson is the all-time wins (164) and pins (107) leader for the Beavers.

Wilson, and his wife, Meghan, live in Marshall, with their twin daughters, Reese and Seger.
