Wilson tabbed MIAA Wrestler of the Week

Wrestling at 285 pounds, Wilson split his two matches at the Olivet Duals Saturday, December 18, at the Cutler Event Center. He defeated Jarod Miller from Baldwin Wallace (Ohio) University, 3-1, in overtime. Wilson scored a takedown in the first minute of the extra period to beat Miller. Wilson fell to Brad Wilton from Michigan State University, 2-1. Wilson was leading the match 1-0 before a reversal for Wilton late in the third period became the winning points.
Wilson and the Comets are off until January 6-7 when they participate in the 2022 United States Marine Corp National Wrestling Coaches Association Multi-Division National Dual Meet Championships at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville.
