Women’s Golf: Olivet finishes eighth at MIAA Jamboree #4

ANGOLA, Ind. – The University of Olivet women's golf team placed eighth at the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Jamboree #4 today at the Zollner Golf Course and hosted by Trine (Ind.) University.

- Top UO Individual: Ella LaMothe (+14), 19th of 53
- The Comets returned to the clubhouse with a 370 team score.
- Saint Mary's (Ind.) College captured the team championship a 320.
- Haley Angel and Colleen Hand from Saint Mary's as well as Morgan Yates from Alma College all shared medalist honors with matching 78s.
- Sophomore Ella LaMothe posted Olivet's low round with an 86, with a 43 on the front nine and a 43 on the back nine. She was one of two golfers to birdie hole No. 4.
- Senior Rayna Honsowitz completed her round in 87 strokes.
- Junior Rylee Honsowitz shot a 94.
- Sophomore Sedona Bonter recorded a 103.
- Freshman Breanna Ramos tallied a 109.
- The Comets host the MIAA Spring Finale next Monday and Tuesday, April 22-23, at the Gull Lake View West course in Augusta. Monday's shotgun start is at 1 p.m., and Tuesday's round starts at 10 a.m.
