Women’s golf team claims eighth-place finish at MIAA Jamboree #4
MARSHALL, Mich. – The Olivet College women’s golf team took eighth-place at the fourth Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) jamboree, hosted by the Comets at The Medalist Golf Club.

MARSHALL, Mich. – The Olivet College women's golf team took eighth-place at the fourth Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) jamboree, hosted by the Comets at The Medalist Golf Club.

- Course Info: Par 72 / 5,887 yards
- OC Team: 8th of 8 (+75)
- Top OC Individual: Rayna Honsowitz (+16), T24 of 50
- The Comets finished with a 363 team score.
- The top three schools were separated by four strokes. Saint Mary's (Ind.) College won the team title with a 328 team score, followed by Adrian College at 330 and Hope College at 332.
- Riley Kleck from Adrian and Chandler Sjoerdsma from Calvin University shared individual medalist honors with identical 77s.
- Junior Rayna Honsowitz shot Olivet's low round with an 88.
- Freshman Ella LaMothe carded an 89.
- Senior Kiersen McDonough completed her round in 91 strokes.
- Sophomore Rylee Honsowitz was next at 95.
- Junior Jenna Otten had a 97.
- Olivet competes at the two-day MIAA Fall Finale Tournament next Friday and Saturday, October 7-8, at Bedford Valley Country Club in Battle Creek.
