Women’s golf team ends in fifth-place at Adrian Fall Invitational

ADRIAN, Mich. – The Olivet College women's golf team ended in fifth-place at the Adrian College Fall Invitational, held today at the Hills of Lenawee Golf Club in Adrian.

• The Comets had a 378 team score.
• Calvin University and Trine (Ind.) University shared first-place in the team standings with identical 351 team scores.
• Chandler Sjoerdsma took first-place in the player standings with an 81.

• Junior Logan McLane had Olivet's low score with a 90 to finish ninth in the player standings.
• Freshman Rayna Honsowitz carded a 93.
• Senior Crystal Lettinga was next at 97.
• Sophomore Aynslee Myer posted a 98.

• The Comets return to action Saturday when they host the NCAA Preview at Forest Akers West Golf Course in East Lansing. The tournament is taking place there because Olivet College and the Lansing Sports Authority are co-hosting the 2021 NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships at Forest Akers next May.
