ST. LOUIS, Mo. – After day one of the Washington University Spring Invitational at the Norman Probstein Golf Course in St. Louis, Missouri, the Olivet College women's golf team is in 13th-place.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Comets posted a 350 team score.
- Rhodes (Tenn.) College is on top of the leaderboard with a 294.
- All of the teams higher than Olivet in the team standings are ranked in the top 35 of the Golfstat.com NCAA DIII Head-to-Head rankings.
- Mackenzie Cohen from Rhodes shot an even par 70 to sit first on the individual leaderboard.
FOR THE COMETS
- Senior Laura Bacso shares ninth-place in the player standings with a career-best tying round of 76 strokes. In the round, she had 14 pars, three bogeys and one triple bogey.
- Freshman Ashley Folleth carded an 85.
- Freshman Taylor Elley was a stroke behind with an 86.
- Sophomore Hayley Cooper and freshman Molly Morey both shot a 103.
