Women’s golf team finishes in 11th-place at 2010 NCAA National Championships
The Olivet College women’s golf team finished in 11th-place at the 2010 NCAA Division III National Championships, which was played on the par 73, 5,901-yard layout of the El Campeon Golf Course and Mission Inn Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla.

In today's fourth and final round, the Comets recorded a 340 team score to give them a four-round total of 1,383 strokes. Methodist (N.C.) University defended its championship, totaling 1,281 strokes strokes.
Sophomore Lauren Campbell (Fenton) had an 81, which gave her a team-low score of 333 for the four rounds. Playing the final round of her collegiate career, senior Megan Rimmel (Ithaca) also posted an 81 to finish with a four-round total of 341 strokes. Junior Amber Conrad (Battle Creek/Harper Creek) was two strokes behind them today with an 83 for a four-day total of 340 strokes. Junior Abby Wheeler (Grayling) posted a 95 today and totaled 369 strokes over the four days.
Olivet ends its season ranked No. 11 in the final Golf World/National Golf Coaches Association Division III Coaches' Poll. In addition, Campbell, Conrad and Rimmel earned NGCA All-Great Lakes Region honors.
