Women’s golf team sets MIAA records at league jamboree
The Olivet College women’s golf team set new Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) records at the league’s second jamboree today at the Zollner Golf Course in Angola. In addition, sophomore Amber Conrad (Battle Creek/Harper Creek) tied a MIAA and school record.

The Comets posted a 310 team to break the overall MIAA team score record and the Zoller Golf Course record. Conrad became the fifth golfer to shoot a 74 in league play as well as tie the Zollner course record. She is also now the fifth player in Olivet history to shoot a 74.
After Olivet's 310 team score today was Saint Mary's (Ind.) College with a 329. Hope was third with a 332. Following Conrad was junior Megan Rimmel (Ithaca) at 78, senior Lindsay Pipkin (White Lake/Lakeland) and freshman Lauren Campbell (Fenton) each at 79. Junior Katie Misko (Alma) shot an 80.
Senior Trisha McKim (DeWitt) and sophomore Abby Wheeler (Grayling) were individual scorers and finished with an 84 and 88, respectively.
After two rounds, the Comets lead the MIAA seasonal standings with a 632. Hope is a second with a 668, followed closely by Saint Mary's with a 669.
Olivet will next compete at the third MIAA Jamboree Wednesday.
