Women's golf team finishes in tie for fourth-place at NKU Invitational
The Olivet College women’s golf team finished in a tie for fourth-place at the Northern Kentucky University Invitational at the Perry Park Country Club. Due to the inclement weather in Kentucky, Sunday’s second round was cancelled.

The Comets carded a 312 team score to tie California University of Pennsylvania. University of Indianapolis led the 20-team field with a 300, followed by Grand Valley State University, 301; and Ferris State University, 303. Olivet was first among the NCAA Division III schools, and the next closest was Otterbein (Ohio) College, who placed seventh with a 316.
Leading the way for the Comets was sophomore Amber Conrad (Battle Creek/Harper Creek) and senior Lindsay Pipkin (White Lake/Lakeland). Each completed their round in 76 strokes. Junior Megan Rimmel (Ithaca) was a stroke behind at 77. Junior Katie Misko (Alma) finished with an 83, while freshman Lauren Campbell (Fenton) had an 87.
Olivet returns to the links next Saturday and Sunday, April 4-5, when it participates in the Trine (Ind.) University at the Zollner Golf Course.
