Women’s golf team finishes in second-place at Peach State Spring Fling
The Olivet College women’s golf team finished in second-place at the Peach State Spring Fling Tri-match at The Creek at Hard Labor State Park in Rutledge, Ga. The Comets posted a 341 team score. Wheaton (Ill.) College took first-place with a 335, while the host Piedmont College was third with a 374.

Leading the way for the Comet was senior Lindsay Pipkin (White Lake/Lakeland), who fired an 82. Junior Megan Rimmel (Ithaca) finished with an 85, while sophomore Amber Conrad (Battle Creek/Harper Creek) was a stroke behind with an 86. Freshman Lauren Campbell (Fenton) and senior Katie Misko (Alma) each carded an 88. Sophomore Abby Wheeler (Grayling) was an individual scorer and scored a 93.
Olivet will be back in action Saturday and Sunday, March 28-29 at the Northern Kentucky Invitational, which will be played at the Perry Park Country Club.
