Women’s golf team wins Kalamazoo Invitational by 26 strokes
The Olivet College women’s golf team won the Kalamazoo College Invitational by 26 strokes today at Milham Park Golf Course in Kalamazoo. Individually, junior Lindsay Pipkin (White Lake/Lakeland) earned medalist honors.

The Comets posted a 336 team score to beat University of St. Francis (Ind.), who had a 362. The host Hornets were third with a 399.
Pipkin needed 77 strokes to complete her round. Senior Amanda Sanders (Concord) was next with an 85. Junior Trisha McKim (DeWitt) had an 86, followed by freshmen Abby Wheeler (Grayling) and Amber Conrad (Battle Creek/Harper Creek) with an 88 and 91, respectively.
Playing as individual scorers, senior Jen Lambarth (Saline) and sophomore Megan Rimmel (Ithaca) each had an 88, while sophomore Katie Misko (Alma) recorded a 90.
Olivet returns to Milham Park Saturday for the first Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association jamboree, which starts at 1 p.m.
