- There were seven lead changes in the first quarter. Olivet had the largest lead for either team at 16-12 when junior Lilly Connelly made a three-pointer in the final 30 seconds of the quarter. The score remained 16-12 at the end of the quarter after a last-second shot by Trine was missed.
- In the first five minutes and 43 seconds of the quarter, there were three tied scores and two lead changes. The Comets led by four points, 24-20, before the Thunder closed the quarter on a 12-0 run to go up 32-24 at halftime.
- Trine out-scored Olivet 27-7 in the third quarter and 12-8 in the fourth quarter to post the 32-point win.
- Connelly was the lone Olivet player to score in double figures, as she had 11 points. She also contributed team-highs in rebounds (seven), assists (four) and steals (four).
- Freshman Kinsey Hatfield had six points and five rebounds.
- Makayla Ardis tallied a game-high 15 points.
- Abby Sanner came off the bench to post a double-double, 13 points and 10 rebounds.
- Olivet hosts Adrian College next Wednesday, February 1. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
