ANGOLA, Ind. – The Olivet College women's basketball team suffered a 76-39 loss to Edgewood (Wis.) College in its second game of the Trine (Ind.) University / Cameron Hospital Classic at the MTI Center.

- The Eagles scored the first seven points of the game. Their lead swelled to 15 points, 23-8, at the end of the first quarter.
- Edgewood scored 10 straight points to push their lead 33-8 at the 5:20 mark of the second quarter. The Comets did not make their first basket of the second period until there was 4:10 left. The teams traded two-point runs to make the 35-12 at halftime.
- In the second half, the Eagles led by as many as 39 points twice, with the last time being 73-34 with 2:48 remaining in the game.
- Junior Lily Connelly and freshman Megan Mauney each scored eight points to lead Olivet.
- Senior Julia Decker grabbed a team-leading five rebounds.
- Paige Banks and Eden Bonser contributed 11 points apiece.
- Claudia Fieras chipped-in 10 points and seven rebounds.
- Kenzie Senffner scored five points, grabbed six rebounds and dished out seven assists.
- Olivet hosts Mount Mary (Wis.) University next Wednesday, November 23. Tip-off at the Cutler Event Center is 5:30 p.m.
