Women’s basketball team loses to No. 3-ranked Hope, 94-44
OLIVET, Mich. – The Olivet College women’s basketball team was topped by Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) co-leader and No. 3-ranked Hope College, 94-44, this afternoon at the Cutler Event Center.

OLIVET, Mich. – The Olivet College women's basketball team was topped by Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) co-leader and No. 3-ranked Hope College, 94-44, this afternoon at the Cutler Event Center.

- In the first quarter, the Flying Dutch led by as many as 18 points before settling for a 23-9 advantage at the end of the quarter. Hope stretched its lead and built a 33-point cushion, 52-19, at halftime. The Flying Dutch continued to hold the lead and was ahead 70-34 the start the fourth quarter. The fourth quarter saw Hope out-score the Comets 24-10 for the final 50-point margin of victory.
- Senior Alicia Bullaro was the lone Olivet player to score in double figures, as she had a game-best 16 points.
- Junior Zoee Zatarga finished with eight points to go along with a team-best six rebounds.
- Ella McKinney led Hope with 15 points, as 15 different players scored at least two points.
- Olivia Voskuil tallied 10 points as well as six rebounds.
- Three players – Kate Majerus, Sydney Muller and Hannah Smith – each scored nine points.
- Savannah Feenstra registered a game-high five steals.
- Olivet closes out its regular season next week with a pair of home contests. On Monday, the Comets face Kalamazoo College at 7 p.m., and on Saturday afternoon, they play Alma College at 1 p.m.
