- In the first quarter, the Comets held an 8-6 lead after senior Logan Kyre made a three-pointer at the 7:06 mark. Trine scored the final 18 points of the quarter for a 24-8 lead to start the second quarter. The Thunder extended their lead to 34-17 at halftime and 54-23 at the conclusion of the third quarter.
- Senior Alicia Bullaro led Olivet with seven points.
- Junior Julia Decker came off the bench to score six points.
- Sophomore Zoee Zatarga grabbed a team-leading six rebounds and dished out three assists.
- Three starters scored in double figures, led by Tara Bieniewicz's game-high 18 points.
- Kayla Wildman contributed 12 points.
- Kelsy Taylor tallied 11 points, while pulling down a game-best eight rebounds.
- The Comets travel to play Adrian College next Wednesday, February 2. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. from the Merillat Sport & Fitness Center.
