- In the first quarter, the Bulldogs led by as many 12 points. A three-pointer by sophomore Brianna Alexander made the score 17-8 at the end of the opening period. Adrian stretched its lead to 15 points three times in the second stanza. After the last time, 27-12, at the 4:33 mark, the Comets went on a 10-2 run to close the gap to seven points with 1:17 left until halftime. A basket put the Bulldogs ahead 31-22 at the break.
- Adrian out-scored Olivet 26-14 in the third quarter for a 57-36 at the start of the final quarter. The closest the Comets would get in the fourth quarter was 15 points, 68-53, with 3:25 left in the game.
- Alexander scored a career-high 20 points. She also recorded six assists.
- Junior Allicia Bullaro joined her in double figures with 12 points.
- Senior Kim Buie grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds.
- The Bulldogs had seven players see action in the game, and two posted double-doubles.
- Chelsea Palmer scored game-high 22 points and pulled down 10 rebounds.
- Rachel Bucher had 12 points and game-best 14 rebounds.
- Rylee Campbell tallied 21 points.
- Kiaya Warner dished out seven assists.
- The Comets host Albion College Saturday at 1 p.m. The game is a part of basketball doubleheader at The Cutler Event Center, as the Olivet men will also play the Britons at 4 p.m.
