ALMA, Mich. – The Olivet College women's basketball team fell to Alma College, 72-60, this afternoon at Art Smith Arena in Alma.

- In the first quarter, Olivet led 5-0 before Alma went on a 10-0 run for their own five-point lead. The Comets answered with 11 straight points to take their largest lead, 16-10, at the 3:45 mark. Olivet maintained the advantage for the rest of the quarter, leading 20-17, at the end.
- Back-to-back three-pointers by the Scots put them ahead in the first minute and 49 seconds of the second stanza. The Comets chipped away at their deficit and eventually took a three-point lead, 31-28. Alma scored the final nine points of the quarter for a 37-31 halftime lead.
- Alma extended its lead to nine points, 48-39, at the midway point of the third period. Olivet out-scored the Scots 11-2 over the final five minutes of the quarter to make the score 50-50 entering the final quarter of play.
- Six Scot points made the score 56-50 with 8:16 left in the game. The Comets made three free throws over the next 42 seconds to trim their deficit in half. Alma responded with a 14-2 run to put the game out of reach.
- Sophomore Zara Weber topped Olivet with 13 points.
- Senior Fayth Talbert came off the bench to score 12 points.
- Senior Kim Buie scored 11 points.
- Senior DeeDee Post netted 10 points, grabbed eight rebounds and dished out four assists.
- Taylor Findlay scored a game-high 26 points of 8-of-12 shooting, including 6-of-9 from behind the arc.
- Morgan Hanchett was next with 17 points.
- Emily Long pulled down 10 rebounds.
