Women’s basketball team dropped by No. 2 Hope, 99-51
HOLLAND, Mich. – The Olivet College women’s basketball team fell to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) leader and No. 2-ranked Hope College, 99-51, tonight at the DeVos Fieldhouse.

HOLLAND, Mich. – The Olivet College women's basketball team fell to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) leader and No. 2-ranked Hope College, 99-51, tonight at the DeVos Fieldhouse.

- The Flying Dutch scored the first 11 points of the game and never looked back. Hope led 33-10 at the end of the first quarter and 61-26 at halftime. The Flying Dutch only out-scored the Comets by two points, 20-18, in the third quarter. Hope capped the scoring with an 18-7 edge in the fourth quarter.
- Senior Amari Brown was the only player to reach double digits in the scoring column, as she had 14 points. She canned four three-pointers.
- Freshman Hannah Brown scored nine points, with three baskets from behind the three-point arc.
- Junior DeeDee Post grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds.
- Olivia Voskuil led all players with 16 points and pulled down a team-best seven rebounds.
- Claire Baguley came off the bench to score 14 points.
- Kenedy Schoonveld contributed 12 points.
- Olivet hosts Saint Mary's (Ind.) College Saturday in its season-finale, starting at 3 p.m. Prior to the game, the Comets will recognize their four seniors.
