Three players named to 2006 All-MIAA basketball teams
Three Olivet College basketball players have been named to the 2006 All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) teams. In women’s basketball, junior Audrey Graham (Battle Creek/Lakeview) has earned first-team All-MIAA honors, while junior Jen O’Neil (Auburn Hills/Avondale) is a second-team All-MIAA selection. In men’s basketball, senior De’Andre Pruitt (River Rouge) was named second-team All-MIAA.

Graham broke five Olivet single-season records, including points (479), field goal attempted (398), field goals made (162), free throws attempted (157) and free throws made (126). She led Olivet and the MIAA in scoring at 17.7 points per game (ppg). O'Neil was second on the team in scoring (12.9 ppg) and rebounding (4.7 rpg). Her 54 three-pointers were tied for second-most in the MIAA.
Pruitt, a two-time All-MIAA selection, was second on the team in scoring (8.3 ppg) and rebounding (4.4 rpg). He ended his four-year career with 1,058 points, which ranks eighth all-time at Olivet. Pruitt holds the school record for three-point field goals attempted (430) and is second in three-point field goals made (131).
Seniors Robert Banks (Detroit/Benedictine) and Derek Kurtz (Hillsdale/Jonesville), juniors Courtney Ivan (Belleville) and Stephanie Smith (Waldron/Camden Frontier) and sophomore Amy Brackenwagen (Grand Ledge) earned coaches' honorable mention honors.
The Olivet women finished the 2005-06 campaign with a 13-14 overall record and were fifth in the MIAA with an 8-8 record. The Comet men had a 6-20 overall record and 2-12 MIAA mark.
