STUNT team splits two home games
OLIVET, Mich. – The Olivet College STUNT team split two games today inside the Cutler Event Center. After defeating Aquinas College, 7-3, the Comets fell to Concordia University-Ann Arbor, 10-1.
OLIVET, Mich. – The Olivet College STUNT team split two games today inside the Cutler Event Center. After defeating Aquinas College, 7-3, the Comets fell to Concordia University-Ann Arbor, 10-1.
Olivet and Aquinas each scored a point in the first quarter (partner stunts). The Comets went ahead 3-1 when they scored a point on routine two of the second quarter (pyramids and tosses). Both teams scored a point on routine one of the second quarter to make the score 3-1 at the halftime break.
Aquinas and Olivet each tallied one point in the third quarter (jumps and tumbling) on routine one. The Comets scored three of the four points in the fourth quarter (team routines) for the final 7-3 score.
Against Concordia-Ann Arbor, Olivet’s lone point came in the fourth quarter.
The Comets return to action next Saturday, March 11 for two games at Hiram (Ohio) College. Olivet faces the host Terriers at 2 p.m., followed by a game against Muskingum (Ohio) University at 3 p.m.
