Four selected to CSCA All-American teams

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Four Olivet College student-athletes have been selected to the 2021 College STUNT Coaches Association (CSCA) All-American teams, as selected by USA Cheer. Sidney McIntosh and Joanna Taylor are first team picks, and Brionna Mielke and Lilly Taylor are second team selections.

The following criteria for selection is: 

• Participate in all four quarters of play (Quarter 1: Partner Stunts, Quarter 2: Pyramids and Tosses, Quarter 3: Jumps and Tumbling, Quarter 4: Team Routine) 

• Participate in at least 50% of games played 

• Be a vital component to the team's success

The Comets finished just their third season of STUNT competition, with each of the last two seasons being shortened due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This season, Olivet made its first-ever appearance at the DIII STUNT National Championships and finished in second-place.
