Quote from head softball coach Darrick Brown:
- "Taylor was a four-year starter primarily at seocnd base but moved to shortstop this season. She is a steady defensive player with strong arm and a solid bat which has steadily improved each year. Last year was her best offensive year when she hit .361 with 12 doubles and 13 RBI. After 14 games this season, Taylor was leading the team with .417 average, hitting in an unfamiliar leadoff spot in the order. We will miss Taylor's laid back, chill and fun personality on and off the field."
Editor's Note: The COVID-19 pandemic caused the abrubt end to winter and spring sports for the 2019-20 academic year. We are not able to host Senior Day ceremonies to thank these seniors for their dedication to their chosen sport. As a result, we will be posting senior salutes like above for each senior over the coming weeks.
