The Olivet College softball team was shutout by Alma College, 8-0, today at Scots Park in Alma. The second game of the doubleheader was postponed because of the rain.

The Olivet College softball team was shutout by Alma College, 8-0, today at Scots Park in Alma. The second game of the doubleheader was postponed because of the rain.
The Comet offense was held to a pair of singles, one each by juniors Anna Braner (Belmond, Iowa/Marshall) and Beth DeLora (Muskegon/Oakridge). Braner also had a stolen base. In the circle, freshman Katie Harper (Vassar) was charged with the loss.
Olivet will be back in action Saturday when it travels to play Kalamazoo College. First pitch of the doubleheader is set for 1 p.m.
