Softball team sweeps Franklin, 11-3 and 14-2
The softball team swept a doubleheader today at Franklin (Ind.) College, 11-3 and 14-2. With the sweep, the Lady Comets have a 7-1 overall record. Both games were also shortened to five innings because of the eight-run mercy rule.

The softball team swept a doubleheader today at Franklin (Ind.) College, 11-3 and 14-2. With the sweep, the Lady Comets have a 7-1 overall record. Both games were also shortened to five innings because of the eight-run mercy rule.
In the circle, junior Erica Anderson (Casnovia/Kent City) picked-up the win in game one. Freshman Kim Green (Portland) started and pitched the first three innings to earn the victory in the second game. Junior Carrie Abbott (Bad Axe) finished the game in the circle.
Olivet is scheduled to play its home-opener Tuesday, March 22, against NCAA Division II foe Grand Valley State University at 3 p.m.
