Men’s cross country team finishes fifth at MIAA Championship
SHEPHERD, Mich. – The Olivet College men’s cross country team finished fifth at the 2022 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Championship, hosted by Alma College.

SHEPHERD, Mich. – The Olivet College men's cross country team finished fifth at the 2022 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Championship, hosted by Alma College.
- Location: Shepherd High School; Shepherd, Michigan
- Team Finish: 5th of 8 schools / 148 points
- All five Calvin University runners were in the top 10 to capture the team title with 27 points.
- Connor Vachon from Hope College won the 8K race with a time of 24:21.2.
- Olivet totaled 148 points to finish 16 points behind Adrian College. Kalamazoo College was sixth with 182 points, followed by Alma College, 183; and Albion College, 215.
- Junior Chris Davis was Olivet's first finisher, as he posted a season-best time of 26:01.4 to place 22nd of 133 runners.
- Junior Hayden Germain was 39th with a time of 26:32.6.
- Senior Chase Mendham crossed the finish line in 26:41.5.
- Junior Hunter Hillard ran a personal-best time of 26:48.8.
- Also running season-best times were sophomore Noah Feudi, 28:40.7; freshman Anthony DeVito, 28:58.5; sophomore Jackson Arkles, 30:15.0; and freshman Craig Bebow, 31:26.1.
- Olivet competes at the 2022 NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional Saturday, November 12, at the Three Fires Golf Course in Holland, Michigan.
