Cross country teams take first-place at Concordia Cardinal Invitational

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Olivet College men's and women's cross country teams finished first at the Concordia University-Ann Arbor Cardinal Invitational.
- Location: Concordia University; Ann Arbor, Michigan
- Men's Team Finish: 1st of 3 schools / 26 points
- Women's Team Finish: 1st of 3 schools / 15 points
- The Olivet men totaled 26 points to beat the Cleary University by seven points. The host Cardinals were third with 61 points.
- The women's teams from Cleary and Concordia did not have the required five runners in the race to post an official team score.
- Senior Chase Mendham had Olivet's top finish, as he was second among scoring runners with a season-best time of 27:34.6 for the 8K course.
- Juniors Hayden Germain and Hunter Hillard were mere seconds apart, clocking-in at 28:02.3 and 28:02.9, respectively. Germain's time is a season best.
- Sophomore Noah Feudi was next at 29:32.2.
- Freshman Anthony DeVito finished in a season-best time of 30:20.6.
- Senior Savannah Baker was the first Olivet runner to finish, as she completed the 5K course in 22:19.5.
- Junior Allyson Stevens crossed the finish line in a season-best time of 22:36.1.
- Junior Tonya Tepin finished in a season-best time of 22:47.9.
- Freshman Jamie Stiver completed the race in a season-best time of 23:53.6.
- Junior Taryn Campbell rounded out the Comets' scoring runners with a time of 24:40.1.
- The Comets run October 29 at the 2022 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Cross Country Championships. Alma College is the host school.
